This is information I have gathered for my 2023 WRX Limited.


2023 WRX Spare Tire Items

The 2023 WRX has no spare tire; they provide a flat repair kit instead and the tools to jack up the car and pull the wheel off for repair.
I wanted to have a spare tire, so decided to buy a used Subaru (STi because they had 18" wheels) "Temporary Spare" off of ebay for that. Note the wheel size and tire it is supplied with to calculate diameter and compare that with the stock wheel and tire diameter so that you get a good match. I read that some people are using a full-size regular stock wheel and tire, which is great. I do not know if that affects placement of tools, but you do have to cut the styrofoam trunk floor to fit if you use a full sized wheel and tire.Rather than chopping up the OEM styrofoam, I researched which parts would work with a spare and came up with these part numbers (for an Imprezza).

At the time, I ordered from https://subaruparts.worldoemparts.com/ because they had the best price I could find. I advise shopping around, as that may have changed.

I put them all in, and they all fit well. I left the tire repair kit in the trunk too.

Spare tire in place. The wingnut bolt and washer are 901720002 and 97047FG000


Jack Carrier 97035FL01A - This is the round styrofoam that sites down in the wheel and holds the jack, lug wrench, screwdriver, and tow hook


Spare Housing 95086FL02A - This is the flat center section of styrofoam that goes over top of the spare cavity and the rug rests on top of. I forgot to put the jack crank handle on it, but you can see the recess for it.
